At the conclusion of this workshop, the learner should be able to:

  1. collect the necessary information from the first interview;
  1. ask the difficult questions:
  1. interview the independent witness:
  1. prepare your client’s statements:
  1. be aware of potential influences brought on by gender and culture
  1. prepare witness’ statements: and
  1. draft an interview memoranda for the supervising lawyer.

This course provides you with 7 CPD hours including 2 hours on professional responsibility, ethics, client care and relations.

Each session offers:

  • an interactive class providing hands-on practice in preparing documents;
  • a limit of 14 participants, to ensure optimum learning;
  • a copy of Personal Injury Studies 201 Desk Reference Manual, including useful checklists and precedents.
