Description:
This presentation will include an overview of Animal Law and what it is a brief history of animal law, status of animals with case law references,how animals intersect with the law in family law matters (pet custody), municipal law (dog bite cases), animal welfare issues and a peek at international animal law matters.
Animal Law cases cover substantive law like tort, criminal, contract, insurance, strata, the list is long, in this part 1 of Animal Law 101 we will explore:
CPD: 1.5 hours including 0 hour in client relations, ethics and professional responsibility.
