  • This rate is available to current subscribers of the BC Civil Litigation Guide. It may be used by the firm once per event.
  • This rate applies to the those sending more than one delegate to this course session. To avail of this rate, all delegates must be registered at the same time.

Description:

This workshop has been designed to be practical and interactive. At the end of the day, you should be able to:

  • be clear on purpose and effect;
  • attend to basic correspondence etiquette;
  • learn to answer the relevant questions;
  • learn the psychology of delivering good or bad news;
  • use physical features to aid understanding;
  • use modern  structure and formats;
  • organize letters for highest impact; and
  • conform to the new Law Society of BC's Respectful Language Guidelines.

Participants must be able to demonstrate specific skills by completing activities prior to the course.

This workshop will provide you with 7.0 CPD hours including 2.0 practice management hour.

Each full day session offers:

  • an interactive class providing hands-on practice;
  • a limit of 14 participants, to ensure optimum learning;
  • a workbook.
